“Spartacus” is back this September with the release of the 2nd season on both the DVD and Blu-Ray format! The studio has officially announced both titles for a release date on September 11, 2012. Priced at $49.98 for the DVD and $59.98 for the Blu-Ray, these 3-disc sets have both their cover arts at the bottom, and they will contain all season 2 episodes, in addition to these extras:

- The Making Of Spartacus: Vengeance
- Behind The Camera: Directing The Rebellion
- On The Set With Liam McIntyre
- Burning Down The House: The VFX of Episode 205
- The Legend of Spartacus
- Famous Last Words

- Spartacus: War of the Damned teaser
In addition to the above, the Blu-Ray ONLY (not the DVD) will also have these extras:
- Audio Commentaries
- Extended Episodes
anybody else think it’s bullshit to only have commentaries on the blu-ray? some of us still can’t afford it.
