“Everyone I talk to is all like, “Oh yeah, my family goes to Disney World every year; it’s no big deal” and the last time I went was when I was 8 years old. I’m almost 17 now. Why is Disney so expensive?”.

Is it really? The one in France isn’t that expensive at all. 

It’s kind of costly in America (depending on your income). Hahaa. I mean, I have heard of people who live in California and go to Disney World every weekend like it’s nothing and I’m like -_-. 

Disneyland in California is different than Disney World in Florida…it’s smaller for starters. If you’re a resident of CA, you can get a ticket that allows you into both parks, Disneyland and California Adventure, I believe that ticket is 72 bucks. Then there’s the 2-day park hopper ticket, that allows you into both (and you get two days), which is around 98 bucks. The 2-day park hopper ticket also has a 30 day time slot, so you can go one weekend and then go another weekend within the same month—you don’t have to go two days in a row. They might have raised the prices since I last went, which was a while ago. If you’re a college student (or an alum of certain schools), you can also get deals on tickets—so maybe those prices I remember were specific to my school. There’s also a yearly pass that you can get, which is an excellent deal…I think around 350 bucks and gets you 315 days of Disney, or 450 gets you the entire year without blockout dates. So yeah, that’s how people go every weekend lol—I had friends with season passes who would go all the time. 

if you live outside of either state, it’s expensive.  especially disney world.  but growing up in virginia beach, we went to busch gardens pretty frequently which was only $60 or so for a ticket.  i suppose it really just depends on where you live.
