I don’t watch the BBC series. But I hope the American version will make up for the change in gender.

Make up for the change in gender? The only thing better than having Lucy Liu as Watson would have been having another (POC, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves here) woman as Sherlock too. Because now the implication would be that Watson and Sherlock can only get together if they’re heterosexual make and female…and fuck that.
